Freedom of speech on social media by Andrew Attenborough In the past few years as a user of online platforms I have noticed. That most of our posts are being monitored by others and have to watch what we say without looking over our shoulder. Even videos about the Christchurch shooting in march 16 th that were posted online on sites like facebook and youtube and others. Before it was taken down and millions where able to see it online before authorities said to take it down. Now days even posting racist views or views that others don’t agree with by terrorists or those on sites like 4chan or 8chan are being targeted and those of like the incels on incel.me and other sites for hating women and other communities. There are so many communities that live online and in many open chat rooms and talk about doing horrible scenes and events but authorities are not after them or there posts.
